Why is healthcare innovation so important to me?

Healthcare innovation isn’t just a job for me—it’s a deeply personal mission shaped by my own experiences and the people I love. I’ve watched my mom battle schizophrenia, and I stood by my cousin as he faced a life-threatening heart defect. Having gone through the same three open-heart surgeries myself, I knew exactly what he was facing. I was there for him not just as a cousin, but as someone who had walked the same path, sharing the hope that carried me through.

The truth is, we’re both alive today because of incredible medical innovations and professionals. By the time I was ten, I’d survived three major heart surgeries and a stroke. It wasn’t luck that got us here—it was the power of healthcare breakthroughs. These experiences didn’t just shape me—they ignited a passion to make a real difference in healthcare.

I’ve seen firsthand how innovation can change lives, and that drives me to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Whether it’s supporting mental health or developing life-saving tools, I’m committed to helping people take control of their health.

I’m always eager to connect with others who share this passion. If you’re as dedicated to transforming healthcare as I am, let’s join forces and make a real impact together. This isn’t just work for me—it’s a way to honor the life-saving innovations that made my story, and my cousin’s, possible.
